Child tax credit?

whats does it mean by saying Child Tax Credit at a higher rate than family element anyone know?

Child tax credit?

I think this is because :

Everyone in the UK with children up to school age and still at full time education until 20 qualifies for the basic rate of Child Tax Credit but you can get a highter rate under some circumstanses i.e if you or your child are disabled or your child is under one years

Child tax credit?

i dont sorry, but they are a dodgy bunch.. twice they have messed my claims up! then tried to blame me..

Child tax credit?

Higher family element is where the family contains a child under one.

Here check out this website

Child tax credit?

Tax credits are made up of elements

Everyone who is a claimant gets the basic element...

then the family element

The the child element...this amount is added one per child in household

The higher element is an additional amount payable when a child under the age of one is in the household

Child tax credit?

The higher family rate is anything higher than the basic family rate.

The basic rate is when you get CTC only at 鎷?47.50 or about 鎷?0 - 11 per week.

The higher family rate is anything above this level.

Child tax credit?
