Would you be happy if you had a credit card with 0% interest rate, forever?

And therefore you always have a minimum payment of $0.00.

And there is no requirement to pay the principal balance off, and there%26#039;s no credit limit. Unlimited credit line.

And your credit score will not be hurt at all if you make the minimum payment.

I do have a card like that. 0% interest rate.

It%26#039;s a nice dream

Federal law requires the minimum payment includes a %26#039;reasonable amount of principle%26#039;. Reasonable is not defined, but it IS above zero. Aside from that, you just described EVERY government assistance program ever conceived.

0% interest does not mean minimum payment of $0

You pay also on the principal amount you owe, by law

And the credit card company gets a return from this how?

And do you offer candy to children, too???

A debt is still a debt. you have to repay it at a certain period or you%26#039;ll drown in it. having a 0% interest rate would be really nice though but that doesn%26#039;t mean that you should go on an all out shopping spree.
